Meet the staff members behind the PGNO mission

Derek Longmeier, MBA, OCPC, ICPS

Executive Director

  • Meet Derek

    Derek has been involved in the social services field for over 30 years and has presented at local, state, and national training throughout the U.S. Derek has served as the Executive Director of Problem Gambling Network of Ohio since 2016, which began as a contract position and transitioned to full-time in 2020.

Claire Spada, OCPC, ICPS

Director of Workforce Development

  • Meet Claire

    Claire Spada, OCPC joined PGNO in May 2022. She has over 15 years of experience in the prevention field in a variety of different capacities, with problem gambling being a major focus in her previous role. In Claire’s role, she oversees trainings, including the statewide conference, and works with local boards and providers on engaging in best practices for treatment and prevention services.

Olivia Burris, CDCA

Intake Coordinator

  • Meet Olivia

    Olivia is the Intake Coordinator for OGTN, helping clients navigate the gambling support service system and connecting them with local resources. She is passionate about helping those in need in her personal and professional life and spends time volunteering with individuals in recovery from substance use.

    Jesse joined PGNO in 2023 as the OGTN Manager. He also completed the Ohio Gambling Treatment Fellowship in 2021, later joining the Ohio Problem Gambling Helpline through PGNO as a Warm Transfer Gambling Specialist.

Engagement Manager

    Josh is a skilled development professional with more than eight years of experience in the non-profit sector. Josh joined Problem Gambling Network of Ohio as the Engagement Manager and is eager to use his experience to enhance PGNO's membership, fundraising efforts, and advocacy. Josh’s strengths lie in communication, and relationship building, driven by his passion for helping people.

    Alexa is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University and joined PGNO as our Communications Assistant. She supports our events, programming, communications, and more!

Administrative Assistant

  • Meet Kennidy

    Kennidy has joined our team as the Administrative Assistant. She provides administrative support to our team, engages with clients, and manages the day-to-day operations at our central office. She is adamant about making a positive change and thrives most when helping others.

Natalie Alexander

Program Manager

  • Meet Natalie

    Natalie joined PGNO as a Project Coordinator in July 2024. In her role, she coordinates and supports key programs, including our Clinical Supervision & Support, Quality Assurance, and the Ohio Problem Gambling Conference. Natalie is an AmeriCorps alumni and is passionate about addressing community needs and helping others thrive.

Katrina Arroyo,LPCC, LICDC-GAMB

Manager of Clinical Programs

    Katrina has been immersed in gambling services since 2016, offering not only treatment and education, but also serving as a warm transfer specialist for the Problem Gambling Helpline of Ohio since 2020. In 2019, she successfully completed the Ohio Gambling Treatment Fellowship and remains actively engaged in delivering gambling services via the Ohio Gambling Telehealth Network ensuring accessible and effective support to individuals across the state.

    James Brill comes to PGNO with a strong background in communications, copywriting, and marketing. He's passionate about highlighting the vital work of Ohio’s problem gambling support services and raising awareness, promoting education, and advocating for Ohioans affected by gambling.

Project Assistant

    Amanda has volunteered for a wide array of non-profit and community outreach organizations over the course of 15 years. Utilizing her background in event coordination, she brings her skills to PGNO to help organize training opportunities that support individuals, local communities, and the state of Ohio.
