Gambling Endorsement Supervisory Program

For professionals in need of supervision hours to complete their GAMB

PGNO offers a supervisory program with the goal of assisting clinicians holding a Preliminary Gambling Endorsement (GAMBp) to become eligible to apply for their Renewable Gambling Endorsement (GAMB) through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (OCDP). This program is a great opportunity for those who are interested in deepening their understanding of gambling disorder, developing sound programs and practices with their agency, and completing the 100 hours of gambling disorder direct clinical experience for the GAMB.

Those that apply for this program will be required to attend three 90-minute group supervision meetings. Additionally, clinicians will be expected to be able to commit to at least three monthly 30-minute individual supervision meetings that may continue until you have received your renewable GAMB. These sessions will be scheduled based on your and the instructor's availability.

Program Eligibility

In order to be eligible for this program, you must:

  • Currently have your GAMBp through the OCDP Board.
  • Not have a supervisor within your agency that is able to provide you with gambling-specific supervision.
  • Have support from your agency and supervisor to obtain gambling-related contact hours, through tasks such as gambling-specific screenings, assessments, education within group settings, and/or treatment.
  • Be able to commit to the three group supervision meetings held monthly.
  • Be able to commit to at least three monthly 30-minute individual supervision meetings that may continue until you have received your renewable GAMB.
