Course description: The Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board has a Code of Ethics for Prevention Professionals as well as a Prevention Scope of Practice, which are different than other disciplines. This training will review, discuss, and apply the requirements in order to ensure prevention practitioners are operating within the guidelines. 

Who Should Attend: Prevention professionals in need of ethics hours that are interested in pursuing an OCPSA certification, or for those renewing an OCPSA, OCPS, or OCPC certification

Problem Gambling Network of Ohio is an approved continuing education provider through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board, Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, and the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board.

Claire is the Workforce Development Manager for PGNO. She has over 15 years of experience working in the prevention field in varying capacities and is an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant. She has a passion for educating others on issues that can greatly impact their lives including drug, alcohol, and gambling prevention, coping with emotions in a positive way, and empowering young people in leadership roles. In her current role, Claire oversees the Stages Training Series, provides guidance for ADAMHS Boards and providers on how to best integrate gambling services as well as coordinates the Ohio Problem Gambling Conference.
