Karen Russo is the Responsible Gambling and Community Outreach Coordinator for the Ohio Lottery Commission. She serves as the Lottery’s Problem Gambling Advocate ensuring corporate social responsibility, coordinates the Speaker’s Bureau and additional community outreach activities throughout the State. In her twenty-eight year tenure at the Lottery, she has held various positions within the Sales Division, Web Administration, and the Communications Department.
Ms. Russo is a graduate of Kent State University in Public Relations. Currently, she serves on the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) Responsible Gambling Committee, the Ohio Problem Gambling Advisory Board, the Problem Gambling Network of Ohio Advisory Board, the Cleveland Foodbank External Affairs Committee, and an active member of National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). Prior to joining the Lottery, Ms. Russo was the Promotions Director for the Cleveland Crunch in the Major Indoor Soccer League. Karen is an active supporter of Ohio’s Flying Horse Farms; a Paul Newman Hole in the Wall Camp for children with serious illness.
