Guidelines for spending gambling prevention and treatment funds will also be discussed including suggestions of how to use them in promotion of services, prevention services, treatment services, and workforce development.

Presenters: Scott Anderson, LCDC II & Claire Spada, OCPC, ICPS
Scott Anderson, LCDC II, has been an Alcohol and other Drug Program Specialist for the state of Ohio since 2009. Currently, he serves as the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Problem Gambling Treatment Coordinator. Anderson has participated in development and presentation of the Problem Gambling Level I and Level II training curricula. He has attended hundreds of hours of gambling specific training and many Problem Gambling state, national and international conferences. Monthly, Anderson participates in Gambling Supervision calls, as well as provides support for agency providers and the Problem Gambling Helpline. He has presented on Problem Gambling at various conferences, workshops and groups throughout the state and nationally.
Claire is the Workforce Development Program Manager for PGNO. She has over 15 years of experience working in the prevention field in varying capacities and is an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant. She has a passion for educating others on issues that can greatly impact their lives including drug, alcohol, and gambling prevention, coping with emotions in a positive way, and empowering young people in leadership roles. In her current role, Claire manages the Ohio Gambling Endorsement Support Services program, the Stages Training program, as well as assists with coordinating the Ohio Problem Gambling Conference.
