Case Management, Treatment Options, and Financial Recovery for Problem Gambling Clients
When gamblers are in treatment settings: inpatient, intensive outpatient or outpatient discharge they need to have the necessary tools and an aftercare plan to maintain the recovery process. The beginning of this workshop will focus on how case management can help patients develop an aftercare plan and access the tools to maintain abstinence from gambling. The workshop will then focus on problem gambling and its relationship with money. This engaging portion of the workshop will discuss values and beliefs regarding money; how to assess current finances; creating a simple budget and repayment plan; and Gamblers Anonymous “Pressure Relief”.
