Treating the Disordered Gambler is a two-day training that will provide clinicians with 12 hours of gambling-specific education. This phase of training is designed for the clinician preparing to treat disordered gamblers. During this training, clinicians will gain a better understanding of treating gambling addiction through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques. Participants will discuss case reviews, participate in role plays, and write treatment plans. Participants will also discuss disordered gambling as a co-occurring disorder.
Training will include continental breakfast lunch both!

Prerequisite: Stage 1: Foundations in Disordered Gambling or 12 hours of previous gambling counseling training required.
Day-of: Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for continental breakfast and networking. The training will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. both days.
This training will provide 12 CEU's for social workers, counselors, and gabling counselors as well as 12 CEU's for chemical dependency and prevention professionals.
