The featured speaker is Julie Hynes, Executive Director of the Oregon Council on Problem Gambling. She has focused her career in public health and the bulk of her work in the problem gambling field since 2002. Julie has served in prior roles as the Director of Responsible Gambling with the Massachusetts Council on Gaming & Health, coordinator of the PreventionLane problem gambling prevention program, instructor at the University of Oregon, and co-investigator in problem gambling public funding research studies. She has focused increasingly on the areas of video gaming and gambling. Among her many accolades, she has co-presented with Cam Adair, founder of Game Quitters, has been a keynote presenter at the Midwest Conference on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse, and is a newly appointed advisor to EPIC Risk Management , the world’s leading independent gambling harm minimization consultancy.
