Scholarships for Prevention & Recovery

OCAM, funded by OhioMHAS and administered by PreventionFIRST! to increase the capacity of Ohio’s prevention workforce, is providing multiple scholarships for prevention professionals. Scholarships are awarded based on your organization's or community's limitations on the ability to attend; the value you will get from attending the training; the value your organization or community will get from you attending.

Prevention professionals holding an OCPSA, OCPS, or OCPC credential are eligible to apply. Notification of scholarship acceptance will be sent via email. Scholarships will be accepted no later than January 24, 2022.

The recovery community has always been an important part of the problem gambling service system, sharing their stories of hope with the community and encouraging others to seek help when they need it. PGNO and ORG are proud to once again offer scholarships to those in recovery or those with a family member in recovery from gambling.

Preference will be based on the date the application was submitted, geographic diversity, contribution to the recovery community or intention to contribute, and availability of funds. Applications may be submitted online through Survey Monkey or you can download the application and email it to CSpada@PGNOhio.org.
