Post-Conference Ethics for Treatment & Prevention Professionals

Post-conference sessions will be held virtually and include 3.0 contact hours of ethics for prevention and treatment. These sessions will be offered at a rate of $20. Attendees wanting to attend a post-conference session may register for it separately from or in addition to the main conference. Space is limited and will be first-come, first-serve. PGNO Members will receive complimentary post-conference registration. Trainer Nan Franks, MA, LPC-CS, LICDC-CS has worked in behavioral health with an emphasis on addiction for over 40 years. She has presented on topics related to addiction and mental health and published several books on ethics in therapeutic relationships. Nan has a special interest in issues for families and women. Derek Longmeier, MBA, OCPC, ICPS has attained certification from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant and the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium as an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist. Derek has been in the prevention field for over 20 years and has presented at local, state, and national training throughout the U.S.

If you have not already registered for the 19th Annual Ohio Problem Gambling Conference, you can learn more and register at The pre-conference will be held on January 25th and 27th and will kick off the conference with lecture-style presentations focusing on the intersection of gambling with other behavioral health concerns. The conference will take place on February 24th, 2022, and will offer attendees a chance to apply learned skills in a collective and collaborative environment with interactive workshops facilitated by experts in the field.
